Study: More Students Are Enrolling in Online Courses - Jordan Friedman, US News

Enrollment in online classes grew more than 5 percent between fall 2015 and 2016, a new report found. Based on federal data from more than 4,700 colleges and universities, more than 6.3 million students in the U.S. – most of whom were undergraduates – took at least one online course in fall 2016, a 5.6 percent increase from the previous year.
